BIOGRAPHY

JOEY GRILLO:

Singer, Songwriter, Drummer, Musician and Entertainer with the ability to incorporate Guitar, Piano and Harmonica into his performance. Born and raised in Southern California, at the age of 10 years old Joey started playing drums. By the early 80’s, he was performing up and down Hollywood’s Sunset Strip. As a strong singing drummer, he took the next step to front man vocalist, for many 90’s touring bands. This led to being recognized by Rolling Stone magazine with a feature story, March 1997 issue, radio interviews and newspaper write ups. By 2005, performing as Roger Daltrey in a tribute to The Who, took Joey to the stage in the Musical Rock Opera “QUAD”, produced by Bill Aucoin. 2008 brought on a whole new musical adventure with the opening of Joey’s Full Service Music Facility “Wall of Sound Studios” in Southern California. This gave him the opportunity to share his love and passion for the music industry with others. As we bring you to current times, Joey is working on his original album with Rebel Soul, titled “American Rebel”, soon to be released. In conclusion, he can be seen performing throughout the United States with a re-ocurring show on Fremont Street and various venues on the Strip with multiple acts: Rebel Soul, The Who Revue and Arena.
